Onigiri Enjoyment

Whenever we visit Japan, a simple onigiri (or rice ball) from any convenience store serves as a great and delicious breakfast. This is especially so when you're constantly on the go, trying to make the most of your holiday.

We are constantly amazed at how good food is in Japan, even the simple food such as the onigiri from Lawson convenience stores. If only the 7-11's in Singapore stocks such great tasting onigiri.

Based on Heritage

This is a watch specially executed by Panerai with its first in-house movement, P.2002/1. The watch combines both modern watch-making brilliance as well as heritage derived from designs in the 1950's. The case completely resembles that of the original 6152 watch, with the pillow shaped case (not your normal Luminor case found on entry Panerai) and the dome shaped crystal. The dome shaped crystal provides magnification for visibility, as the 6152 was designed for military divers.

Other aspects pointing to its heritage include Panerai's famous crownguard as well as the manual wind 8 days power reserve, drawing on inspiration from the 1950's watch. The GMT with day/night indicator and date points to modern embellishments. A less well known feature of the watch is the seconds reset which allows precision in time setting.

I've always wanted to shoot a Muay Thai match and have been bugging a friend who's training in the sport to get me into an event. I was not disappointed when he took me to a competition match. I enjoy the intensity and focus of this particular fight.
